The origins of this model stated long before Radio Control or Blaine Steering, but  as a pole boat.  Poles were used to turn the boats at the end of each leg of the race course and before release the sails would be reset for the next leg.  Our Model is designed for RC and if you don’t want it to racer and want to relive those early days of yachting as an impressive from the 1890 – 1920 style sloop or cutter rigged model, you may want to consider building like the picture below.

Our Model is compromised of white gel coated fiberglass hull.
